krogar Posted February 24, 2013 Share Posted February 24, 2013 After installing Mountain Lion 10.8.2 on an eVGA x58 3x SLI mobo, with no add-in cards, BIOS 83, using an nVidia GTX 285 video card, the system comes up with a disk boot failure error. Have not found any recent DSDT files to use after installation. BIOS settings are as follows: Sata Mode: AHCI JMB362 Sata Controller: Enabled JMB363 Sata/Pata Controller: Enabled JMB363 Mode: AHCI JMB362 Mode: AHCI ACPI Suspend: S3 Run VGA Bios if S3 Resume: No Soft-Off by PWRBUTTON: Instant off Wake up by PCI card: Disable USBKB Wakeup from S3: Enabled PWRON after pwr failure: On Integrated sound: Enabled Ethernet: Only one enabled Any help would be much appreciated. This is my first Hackintosh. krogar Posted February 27, 2013 Author Share Posted February 27, 2013 After using older DSDT files, system will reboot and have a kernel panic. I haven't been able to get a screen shot of the error.
