How to determine which version of OSX can I pull off on my kinda old PC

Hey there,

I just recently discovered this site and since I always wanted to play with Mac OSX I decided to give it a shot.

First of all, I already tried emulating OSX and only succeeded with Leopard due to some CPU problems VMware had.

I wonder if I can install Mountain Lion on my machine or should I stick to older versions?

My PC spec taken from dxdiag:

------------------

System Manufacturer: MSI

System Model: MS-7592

Processor: Intel® Pentium® 4 CPU 3.00GHz (2 CPUs), ~3.0GHz

Memory: 4096MB RAM

Display Devices

---------------

Card name: NVIDIA GeForce 210

Manufacturer: NVIDIA

Chip type: GeForce 210

DAC type: Integrated RAMDAC

Device Key: Enum\PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0A65&SUBSYS_34EF1458&REV_A2

Display Memory: 1746 MB

Dedicated Memory: 466 MB

Shared Memory: 1279 MB

any hints would be well appreciated ;)
