Rusty Shackleford
When i copy files from one place to another using terminal the results are slow to show up in finder. For example, if i copy tmp.tar from /Users/rusty to /Users/rusty/Desktop the file tmp.tar will not show up on the desktop until I log out and log back in, but 'ls' at the terminal shows it is there immediatley after the 'cp' command. The same happens when i copy files to my home directory from another machine on the network. Is there some way to force a resfresh of a folder to get around this?
