Looks like everything is supported but anything involving OpenGL (please correct me if I'm wrong but this includes things like the Daischboard, widget animations, flurry ss) is very jerky (Does QT use Q2DE?). I've tried 10.4.7 ATI kexts and OpenGL.framework as well as combinations of kexts from previous versions. Has anyone had any success with a 512MB PCIe card? When you say your x1600XT is fully supported do you still have the same problems I am having? Everything looks good but doesn't work so great?

I have an ATI x1600 Pro 512 Mb PCI-E and it's working perfectly...

Did you try this installer?

Ok. Thanks Rammjet. That's what I figured. Another questions tho...Does your system profiler see your RAM correctly? Is it like this:

DIMM0/BANK0:

Size: 1 GB

Type: SDRAM

Speed: Unknown

DIMM1/BANK1:

Size: 1 GB

Type: SDRAM

Speed: Unknown

or does it actually give you the speed?

Thanks in advance for your wisdom, oh great Rammjet.

So it recongnizes your ram as DDR2?

SDRAM - it says the same thing as your RAM

Also, what do all of the animations and quicktime use? QE2D, QE, etc.?

Yes

I notice QE2D is missing. It must have gotten turned off somehow. I'll have to turn it back on - it does support it.

Well, I disabled one of the CPU's and it's working perfectly. Before changing the Boot.plist to cpus=1 I tried idlehalt=0 but without success. Rammjet, any suggestions? I would love to be able to use both cpus. Anyone with an 805 out there with a stuttering workaround other than the ones listed above?

Many thanks to Rammjet as I actually found one of your old posts saying to disable 1 of the cpus. :thumbsup_anim:
