DaemonES Posted September 25, 2006 Share Posted September 25, 2006 Hi all, I have ConroeXFire eSata2 (i945P), Core 2 Duo E6300, SATA II Seagate 200 gb. I tried all ways to make dual boot on this mobo. But any boot loader (even WinGrub, Acronis OS Selector) stack at the moment of partitions scanning (if HDD has 2 or more primary partitions). If a connect this HDD to Abit AN8, all works. Also I think, that this mobo has boot boundary at 2 GBs. So can anyone help? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Tradecuador Posted September 25, 2006 Share Posted September 25, 2006 I have the same motherboard, I had a disaster with the dual boot with my WinXP on a SATA disk and the OSX on another drive. That I found about dual boot on this mobo. You need have your BIOS IDE Configuration as: ATA/IDE Configuration [Enhanced] Configure SATA as [iDE] If I had as ACHI the OSX boot the partition but hangs up in the Apple Logo Screen. When my dual boot was working the OSX recognize the Windows FAT drive but after the restart and change from IDE to ACHI the Win drive partition was lost.
