hey fantomas1 really appreciated your work

i tried new "10.8.0" kext's that u gave me and i think it's working but not in normal mode only on safe mode

because after using your kext's i managed to get 1920x1080 resolution @120hz so that means it's actually working but only in safe boot :(

on normal boot after loading verbose mode i m getting a black cursor on grey screen didnt not getting logon area where i can type my password

but on safe boot after verbose mode i m getting a black cursor on grey but after 3-4 secs i m getting logon area

Edit:

Normal Mode i can enter by typing this : GraphicsEnabler=No but no qe/ci and no 1080p resolution :(

but on safe mode i dont have to type anything and even working 1080p resolution

i m using Chimera 1.11.1

on safe mode, QE/CI can't work!

@120hz? isn't it a little high?

you can try to inject your graphic card into your DSDT (see here!)

and if it doesn't work, try to patch your graphic card connectors (see here!)

and if it still not working, so buy a new graphic card! :D;)

Good luck

dont know what happend on normal mode if i m trying to GraphicsEnabler=Yes not working

GraphicsEnabler=No Working

i reinstalled mountain lion same thing happening :s

i need chameleon boot or Chimera ?

i m using Chimera at a time

I never used Chimera

like I said it, you can try to inject your graphic card into your dsdt or try to patching ATIConnector

or buy a new graphic card, there are many, not very expensive, graphic cards who have a good compatibility with ML and are better than your 3850! ;)

see on OSx86 Wiki for more infos

i m not using ATY_Init.kext it was just for testing and deleted after that :)

i have a Question may be your given file " ATIRadeonX2000.kext "

interrupting with default files ?

"ATIRadeonX2000GA.plugin"

"ATIRadeonX2000GLDriver.bundle"

"ATIRadeonX2000VADriver.bundle"

because some where i read

For full graphics support with QE/CI/openGL the following must be loaded and present in Systemprofiler :

ATI3800Controller.kext

ATIRadeonX2000.kext( and the X2000 bundles and plugins, but they are not listed there )

ATISUPPORT.kext

ATIframebuffer.kext

AppleGraphicsPowermanagement.kext

AppleGraphicsControl.kext

all these kexts are in S/L/E folder

only ATI3800Controller.kext and ATIRadeonX2000.kzxt need to be patched, it's what I did!

but it seems not enough, so my last support of this is "try to inject your graphic card into your dsdt and if it doesn't enough, try to patch ATIConnector"!

sorry but I can't do anything of more for you :(

maybe this card is no longer supported by os x. Like I said it before, you better have to buy another one, more compatible and cheap! ;)

Good luck

Cordially, staff
