Tradecuador
I had a old IDE card attached 3 HDs, is a Promise Ultra ATA 133 TX2, the OSX did not recognize the card, and I don't see drivers on the Promise website for MAC. Someone could indicate me if that card can add it to some extension, or other way to activita the IDE HDs. Thanks TRADE
Tradecuador
Well I think that this question must be in the WIKI. So I made my homework and I gave the alternatives. IDE PCI Cards only work on PC Mobos using Drivers, the IDE PCI Cards that works on Mac PCI slots are firmware modificated, did not use drivers so I think that you can not use the IDE PCI Cards for PC with OSX at least you installed on a Mac. Solution: If you has addtional SATA port get a SATA to IDE converter for your PATA HD or Drives. Install a SATA PCI Card if you don't have enough port look this link to choose one that works http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...21552&st=40 TRADE
