echeese Posted September 24, 2006 Share Posted September 24, 2006 Hokay, when I boot with the DVD in the drive, I get a bunch of USB errors, about "found a transaction..." and then after a while, I get disk0s1: I/O Timeout If I don't have the disc in, I simply get HFS+ partition error I've got an AMD 64 3200+ with 10.4.6 No idea what to do next. In Terminal, type: fdisk -u /dev/rdisk0 While you are there, you might as well make sure you have set your OSX partition as "active".
