mifki
well you opent he kext and edit he info.plistfile, there are plenty of other posts which tell you how to edit plist files so i wont go into depth on it, but first you must get the device id's of your card (which is also mentioned in many other threads). macuser9214
OK, but do I have to loose everything, or can i just upgrade? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/28433-d-link-wireless/#findComment-194676 Share on other sites
Rammjet
There is no upgrade path from 10.4.1. You can try to find a way to offload your data to DVD or an external hard drive. I keep all of my data on a separate partition so I can wipe my OS at any time and lose very little except for some settings. macuser9214
OK. maybe tomorrow. Actually I am afraid that I won't get it to work again or something. Maybe I'll just live with the ethernet being shared from my mac mini. But I do have one question about that. How can I forward ports from the mini to the x86? I know u have to use terminal, but how??? Thanks. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/28433-d-link-wireless/#findComment-194687 Share on other sites

Study up on the command ipfw. Go to Terminal and type: man ipfw (hit the Space bar to page forward while reading) To see the currently set rules, in Terminal type: sudo ipfw list Read this: http://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1...walls-ipfw.html Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/28433-d-link-wireless/#findComment-194728 Share on other sites
