rblissitt
Office Depot has the Presario V3000T (Core Solo with GMA 950) for $399 (after 3 rebates) + ~$50 shipping/handling/BTO (build to order). The price is good through today (9/23/06), but others have said they've seen that price elsewhere. Delivery time is about three weeks, I've read. It's not the base model Celeron V3000T, but then again it's not a Core 2 Duo ("Merom", which is actually a good thing if you don't want a CPU designed in Israel.) I've decided not to get one because I want a MacBook running XP and OSX, but I thought I'd pass it on. [EDIT] Oops. Sorry, the original Core CPU was also designed in Israel. Forget that... [/EDIT] This would seem to be a good laptop for OSX86, but Search doesn't reveal any discussion on "V3000T".
