For anybody out here,

Have installed the DVD of MAC OS X86 after first paying a bit with the deadmoo image:

With my Geforce3 TI 200 i had no results when changing the refreshrate in the "comm.apple.Boot.plist" file

it ended always up in 60hz. However, after installing the DVD refresh rate changing works fine, have 1024x768x24@85 now working..

Seems to me it has someting to do with Darwin on the DVD, shall find it out and let you now later.

cheers

Well, this can't be your graphic card. I have the same, and running here "1280x1024x32@85". ok, I do not need th 85, because I am running on TFT, but it works.

What I did, is changed the vendor/device IDs in the AppleI386:

I replaced the PCI-bridge, the PCIe port and some hyperthreating Device thing, with my MSI-Board Nforce4 IDs and also noticed an 10% speedup in xbench.

maybe we should search all files in windows with Macdrive access, and should replace every 0x00blabla

with our device IDs.

By now, I killed all that ATI trash, and also removed that Intel {censored} out of my system files. If you have an nForce board, you don't need them anyway.
