Problema Sleep y cierre de sesion

Un ultimo problema con mi mac, que por lo que he leido es bastante comun pero no he conseguido solucionarlo con los metodos que he visto en la red:

cuando cierro la tapa del portatil o lo suspendo, el portatil (snow leopard, 10.6.3) entra en modo hibernacion (sleep), pero no consigo hacerlo salir de ese modo, he probado mil combinaciones de teclas distintas, apretando el boton de encendido... pero siempre tengo que apagar el portatil forzado (mateniendo el boton power 5 seg).

Tambien me ocurre que cuando dejo una sesion abierta durante mucho tiempo, al cabo de unas cuantas horas se me reinicia el portatil, pierdo todo el trabajo que tenia y me vuelve a la pantalla de inicio de sesion, supongo que activando la hibernacion solucionaria esto... pero dado que tengo el otro problema no puedo hacerlo...

¿que puedo hacer?

sleep:Proper combination for sleep is:

 

1) patched HPET, TIMR, RTC, PIC sections

2) patched EHCI/UHCI sections

3) patched AppleLPC kext to match chipset id

4) removed NullCPUPowerManagement, SleepEnabler

5) patched AppleRTC kext to solve CMOS reset after sleep
