ARDAgent is part of Apple remote management, screen sharing, that kind of thing. If you turn that off in System Preferences, the message will probably go away, but there might be a deeper issue. Click the Apple menu and hold down the option key, then click System Information. To the right, last item in the list, do you see a Hardware UUID?

 

Chameleon 2.1 provides OS X with this ID automatically, but it doesn't work right on some systems.

 

If that is your case (if you don't see a proper Hardware UUID in System Information) you can override it like this:

 

Add a key named SystemId (with that exact capitalization) to your /Extra/org.chameleon.Boot.plist, then use cVad's UUIDGen.app (attached) to generate a random UUID and use that as the string value.

No, in that case I don't think it will make any difference.

 

I wonder if ARDAgent is complaining about something else, maybe it wants the MAC address of your integrated LAN.

 

Did you try turning off sharing/remote management?
