dojo pros Posted September 21, 2006 Share Posted September 21, 2006 help, right i installed 10.4.4 on a pc, installed xp, part half drive to fat32 installed osx86, went back to windows added chain0 file and edited boot, worked a treat, so same pc (work pcs, all hp comqaq dc7100 small form) installed windows then partitioned exactly the same, installed 10.4.6 JAS and when you restart it comes up with the grey apple and then get stuck and wont go no further, like an sign appears on the apple like the one over a no smoking sign and it sticks? anyone no away round this, Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/28258-hp-dc7100-1046-install/ Share on other sites More sharing options...

Choose SSE2 or SSE3, not both, depending upon the capability of your processor. Choose the Combo Update to end up with 10.4.6. Choose any other packages that apply to your computer.
