kramer2k
Ok, So i'm trying to figure this out, but several days and massive google searchings have led me no where. Here's my question. I have downloaded nearly all of the available isos 10.4.1 10.4.3 10.4.4/5 10.4.6 - DVD only 10.4.7 - DVD only Ideally, I'd love to make an install dvd off of the 10.4.4/5 iso, since it's the one that works perfectly. But here's what I want to add...myzar's 10.4.6v3 update, and other kexts so that I don't need to mess with them when I need to re-install (callisto, callistoHAL, ATI9700GA, forcedeth, AGPgart, and most importantly AppleVIAATA for SATA INSTALL support) I know how to mount an image to make it modifiable, but I don't know how to edit the installation options to add the 10.4.6v3 update, nor how to add the kext files to the essentials.pkg. Can anyone help in this matter? Thanks from the Doc My Specs AMD 3400+ Venice w/ Arctic Pro cooler 64 Biostar NF325-A7 (Nforce3 250) Working LAN (forcedeth) Working audio (no mod necessary) ATI9800 Pro, QE/CI, AGP (Callisto 008, AGPGart 1.71) WD 250 SATA working (AppleViaata.kext) - XP Seagate 160x2 - OSX and HFS+ Storage Benq 1640 - BSLB Aopen 1616/ARR DK
Rammjet
If you examine the packages in /System/Installation/Packages, you will see that all of the options that show up in Customize are separate packages from Essentials.pkg. Basically, Essentials.pkg does its thing and then the individual packages replace as necessary.
