[Solved]QE/CI Not Working Nvidia GeForce 9500GT Mountain Lion 10.8

Hey all,

I am a long-time Mac user and have contributed a lot to InsanelyMac helping people get their machines up and running.

I would like to say that this card has worked flawlessly for me with QE/CI in Leopard and Snow Leopard.

Now, in Lion, I am only able to achieve Dual Monitor support and Max Resolutions, not QE/CI.

I achieved this with the DP3 kexts from here:

Now, all that's left is getting QE/CI working.

I have no idea where to start. I heard of a kext, GeForce.kext, which is not present in my system. Is there any chance I could achieve QE/CI with it? If so, where can I get a 10.8 version? I could only find older versions.

Also, I have tried with GraphicsEnabler=Yes, NVEnabler64 and EFI String (All separately of course) and all 3 achieved the same result, dual monitor but no QE/CI. :(

Does anyone have any ideas?

For me OOB Dual Monitors does not work and Max Resolution is frozen at 1280x1050 instead of native resolution 1680x1050 AND no QE/CI. Using the drivers provided by the link in my post enables dual monitors and resolution but not QE/CI.

this is the problem: GeForce.kext, which is not present in my system
