xdanisx
I'm following this guide here: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=273500 I'm trying to install from my external hdd. The only problem is, for some reason, I can't install chameleon to it. Only my usb drive. So I'm assuming I can just install chameleon to my usb drive and install Lion from my external hdd, no? Anyways, when i insert my usb drive with chameleon and boot my computer from it, I get "No OS found". Wtf? Why? xdanisx
Are you sure there's something there? I mean the USB drive. Not positive, but I'll check. EDIT: Maybe it's my Chameleon? Anyone have a link to Chameleon v2.1? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/280768-no-os-found/#findComment-1835287 Share on other sites
xdanisx
Alright so everything on the external drive is fine. I just can't boot from it! "No OS found". Maybe I don't have something enabled in BIOS? Not much can be done on my laptop's BIOS, but whatever. Please help! For some reason I can only use the USB 3.0 port on my laptop, is this what's my problem? Chameleon can't be used with USB 3.0? EDIT: Doesn't work with USB 2.0 on my desktop either, wtf?
