tsddave
Not long ago I downloaded ######## OSX Lion and installed it on my hackintosh. Today I decided to play it safe and buy a licence for lion from the app strore. Then it started downloading lion for me to install! Naturally I dont need this and paused the download but now its just waiting for me to click resume. Is there a way of me cancelling the download and erasing what it has already downloaded and also marking in the App store that I have this installed? tsddave
Erm,firstly I do not understand why you are warning me about something I have not done! Secondly your actual reply doesn't make any sence! Maybe your saying cancel my purchase of lion...now your advising me to commit piracy then! Maybe your saying cancel my purchase of lion...now your advising me to commit piracy then! for you cancel your purchase is advising you to piracy ? pls, reread your comment : Is there a way of me cancelling the download and erasing what it has already downloaded and also marking in the App store that I have this installed? and then, reread what i tell you : try to connect you on your Mac App Store account and then delete your buying !!! man, if you see in my comment any advising to piracy, pls use Wiki and search about what's the piracy ! Gringo Vermelho
for you cancel your purchase is advising you to piracy ? It is, in a way, depending on what you want to read into it. While it should be obvious that you meant cancel the download and not the purchase, when you wrote "delete your buying" he read that as "cancel your purchase", which would leave him with no other option but to pirate Lion. Unless he wouldn't mind spending more than twice as much on the Lion USB installer from the Apple Store...which is a retarded thing to do when it's so easy to build your own, using the App Store installer. http://store.apple.c...roduct/MD256Z/A Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/280711-lion-from-app-store-doesnt-see-my-installed-lion/#findComment-1836113 Share on other sites
fantomas
Hi Gringo which would leave him with no other option but to pirate Lion. although it was not my thoughts, I think he didn't need me for that ! Not long ago I downloaded a torrent of OSX Lion and installed it on my hackintosh. then, i'm really sorry, maybe i'm so stubborn, but i don't see how "cancel a purchase" can advising to piracy ? I really don't understand, sorry ! Gringo Vermelho
Then you are stubborn lol I'll try to explain again: The OP was running a pirated version of Lion, and then tried to redeem himself by buying Lion from the App Store. If he cancels his purchase (and keeps running Lion without paying Apple) nothing has changed, he is still a pirate. Therefore, knowing his current situation and then telling him to cancel his purchase is advocating piracy. But of course you meant canceling the download, as described here: http://osxdaily.com/...-mac-app-store/ 1 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/280711-lion-from-app-store-doesnt-see-my-installed-lion/#findComment-1836115 Share on other sites
fantomas
Then you are stubborn lol +1 If he cancels his purchase and keeps running Lion without paying Apple, nothing has changed, he is still a pirate. Therefore, given his current situation, telling him to cancel his purchase is advocating piracy. So as I thought he didn't understand what I meant by cancel its purchase. or, I didn't understand exactly what he wanted ! But of course you meant canceling the download , as described here: http://osxdaily.com/...-mac-app-store/ exactly Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/280711-lion-from-app-store-doesnt-see-my-installed-lion/#findComment-1836117 Share on other sites
