Cpt Klink Posted July 12, 2012 Share Posted July 12, 2012 Hello I was wondering if anybody out there could help me get my sound to work. I use the Built in Realtec ALC 892 HD on my motherboard (Full specs in my sig). I can get the sound to work with voodooHDA but i heard that by useing a Patched appleHDA.kext and a ALC8xxHDA.kext I can get a lot clearer/cleaner sound because with voodooHDA I get a constant low humm. I have tried the ALC8xxHDA.kext normal version and the legacy version with a patched appleHDA and just can't get it to work. Or if someone can help me with editing my DSDT to make the audio work with only the appleHDA.kext that would actully be even better any tips would be greatly appreciated.
