thegreatharry
Hi! I'm new here. This is my branded PC which I bought recently on Dell online. Specs are as follows: CPU: Intel Core i7-3770 3.40 GHz, 8MB Motherboard Chipset: Intel Panther Point H77 (Ivy Bridge) Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GT 640 Memory: 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1600 MHz Wireless: Dell Wireless 1703 802.11b/g/n (2.4GHz) <-- Wired is also ok for me Hard Disk: 1TB 7200 RPM SATA OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit I have retail Snow Leopard and Lion. Are they compatible? If not, any suggestions for other distros? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Nathaniel Underwood
Got a more recent XPS8500, with this specs: Intel H77 LGA 1155 Motherboard Intel® Core™ i7-3770 processor (3.40 GHz with Turbo Boost 2.0 up to 3.90 GHz) 16Gb RAM 2GB AMD Radeon HD 7870 (DVI, HDMI, VGA) I know ATI card is unsupported but I read somewhere that the Intel Motherboard has and Intel GMA integrated and usable with OSX, ¿is there any guide or tutorial to follow and get a vanilla/retail installation? Thanks in advance.
