coolblue86
Hi, I am from India and using Beetel 220BX USB modem for my ADSL connection. I connect to the internet from Mac OS X and after some time my internet automatically disconnects. I tried to use the modem both in PPPoE mode and DHCP mode, but the problem remains. I am confused as what may the reason be ? BTW, I am having a P4 1.8GHz and 384 MB RAM, using ADSL USB modem and dual booting Mac OS X with Windows XP ! Please give suggestions for rectifying my problem... coolblue86
No, in Windows XP I can connect via dial-up as well as DHCP, and this too via USB port and ethernet (as two modes of connection supported by the modem). But the probem in Mac OS X is that it doesnot recognize Intel Pro/100 PCI card, so I have to connect via USB port. And, Mac recognizes USB mode as an ethernet connection ?
