King John
I've been doing a bit of research and I haven't really found much stuff (at least, on insanelymac.com) about this chip. I DID however, stumble on this. The new Bulldozer series (which includes the FX-8150) comes with SSE3 and SSE4 instructions sets! I'm assuming this means that SSE3 virtualization is not needed for higher-end AMD chips. So does anyone know if theres been any projects specifically geared towards the new Bulldozer AMD chips? I would think that all you would need to do is povide a work around for the CPU check and it would work out of the box I can't really test this because I don't know where to start... But it could be said that this is already half-confirmed because I've used He-who-shall-not-be-named's (VERY OLD) ###### Legacy CD and had it succesfully boot without any hangs or errors. Very fast. Can anyone confirm this? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279836-any-love-for-the-amd-fx-8150/ Share on other sites
