voxpop
Hey guys. I'm new here and have run into quite a predicament. I am no computer wiz by any means but I recently successfully installed Lion via iAtkos L2 and everything was running smoothly. I upgraded to 10.7.4 and even installed Diablo 3. The game itself ran fine so I'm guessing my GTX 570 was working. But under system info it said Unrecognized 1280MB so I wasn't completely sure. Also my sound wasn't working so I decided to use ###### to install some drivers. I chose the "Universal" option under audio because I hadn't used that before and also the Nvidia 5xx drivers for 10.7.2+. After it successfully installed a weird transparent drop down menu suddenly came down and told me to power off the computer. After I did, now I can't start up OSX. It gets stuck at the grey Apple loading screen. Any ideas on what I should do to fix this problem?? I am running a i5 2500k, Asus P8Z68V-LX mobo, GTX 570, 8GB ram. voxpop
Nevermind, just reinstalled the entire thing. Any help on getting the GTX 570 or sound to work would be greatly appreciated though Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279750-stuck-at-apple-loading-screen/#findComment-1826631 Share on other sites
TheRacerMaster
I think that the GTX 570 should work with GraphicsEnabler=Yes. For sound, select AppleHDARollback and ALC8xxHDA. Do not select any of the Universal options. EDIT: If GraphicsEnabler does not work, try this: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=260074 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279750-stuck-at-apple-loading-screen/#findComment-1826819 Share on other sites
