Hello. I have recently installed the Gigabyte 6850 video card. I am using

	<key>AtiConfig</key>
<string>Duckweed</string>
<key>AtiPorts</key>
<string>4</string>
<key>GraphicsEnabler</key>
<string>Yes</string>

This works very well, and I get a NovaBench Graphics score of 442.

But, after the system sleeps, I have a problem. The graphics turns very poor performance.

After sleep, the NovaBench gets a Graphics score of only 114.

All other benchmarks (RAM, CPU, Hardware) stays the same. Only the gfx is affected.

A reboot fixes the problem, but again, after sleep, the very poor gfx performance is again present.

I am running 10.7.4.

Is this a known issue? I'd like to use sleep, but I don't want such poor gfx performance.

I am using Gigabyte EG45M-UD2H with Q9550 processor. Only non-vanilla kexts are ALC885_889a.kext, realtekRTL81xx.kext, and of course FakeSMC.kext.

DSDT was generated using the old MaLd0n auto-patcher.

Are you using a MacPro 3,1 smbios? Try a different one, iMac 12 or MacMini 5 for instance.

Just don't use MacPro 4 and 5 or your system will KP during boot, unless you delete the AppleTyMCEDriver.Kext.
