samw8888 Posted May 30, 2012 Share Posted May 30, 2012 I recently acquired an ATI Radeon 5750 graphics card for use in my dual-monitor hackintosh. I downloaded the ATI5000Controller.kext from the osx86 downloads, and it works with full resolution and acceleration, except when I do something graphics-intensive like watching Netflix fullscreen or playing a video game it randomly crashes with vertical lines across both screens, after which the computer has to be restarted. The crash looks similar to this: Has anyone else experienced/resolved this issue? It seems like a driver issue because it doesn't happen in Windows but there have been reports of it affecting Windows PCs so I assume it's been patched. But I cannot find an alternative Mac kext.
