NavS
I have two harddrives one has XP/Ubuntu, the other has OSX, the installation was pretty easy. I didn't really like OSX and now I want to remove and format that drive, but I'm having no luck with partitionmagic. Does anyone have any idea of what to do? LarryM.net
In windows XP, assuming you have Pro, Start> My Computer> Control Pannel> Administrative Tools> Computer Management. Once there you should see Device Drives in the left pane. If you select the hard drive that HAD osx on it, you can format it to NTFS so windows can recongnize it. Im trying to recall all this from memory, im on OSX now and I cant confirm if I missed a step or not, but I am pretty sure this is correct. I dont knowthe Partition Magic way you are talking about. Hope this helps. -LarryM.net
DiaboliK
in windows> start button> run> diskmgmt.msc (press return) select the unknown but healthy drive which used to be osx and reformat partition.
