TheRacerMaster
Hey guys, I want to get native SpeedStepping working on my Intel Core i5 430M. I found a post on the InsanelyMac Wiki saying someone got native SpeedStepping with SSDT tables. However, they didn't post a download link. What are SSDT tables? And how can I use them? Can I create them? I'm currently on 10.7.3. I know that 10.7.4 has a modified AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext, so will these SSDT tables work with 10.7.4 also? Sorry if I'm asking nooby questions. Thanks, TheRacerMaster Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279199-speedstepping-for-intel-core-i5-430m/ Share on other sites
TUX FIRE
Use the DSDTSE to extract them Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279199-speedstepping-for-intel-core-i5-430m/#findComment-1821822 Share on other sites
MacFaulty
U might also try with chameleon. Something with dumpssdt or equivalent. Works with my lappy. Check my sig Hope this works out for you Btw. AFAIK SSDT Tables are some kind of dsdt tables, but dynamic ones. Please correct me if I'm wrong Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279199-speedstepping-for-intel-core-i5-430m/#findComment-1822040 Share on other sites
TheRacerMaster
Weird, in DSDTSE, I have options for both SSDT.aml and SSDT-1.aml. Should I just save SSDT.aml or should I also save SSDT-1.aml? And do I have to edit org.chameleon.Boot.plist in any way? Koenkk
You can also grab the ssdt from the installation options of ######, its located under Customization -> Boot options -> SSDT -> Core i5 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279199-speedstepping-for-intel-core-i5-430m/#findComment-1829617 Share on other sites
