Maximus III Gene

I am trying to install Lion 10.7.3 or10.7.4 on my system.

Specs:

Motherboard: Maximus III Gene

Processor: i7 860

Ram: 16GB (4x4GB)

Graphics: PNY GTX 460 (0e22)

 

I have successfully installed 10.6.8 with GTX 460 fully enabled. I didn't install the DSDT or the sleep enabler kext because don't need them. I have sound and Ethernet enabled.

 

I can install 10.7.0 without issues, and get to the OS, install the Combo update and install the ######, but when i restart it always ends in kernal panic no mater what settings i set. if i boot with -x instead of panic i get to waiting for root device.

 

I would be grateful if someone can help me get Lion installed.

I am using the ###### install method, and has but USB for 10.7.3 and 10.7.0. with the 10.7.3 i never get to the desktop. if someone can tell me what kernel flags to use. i will be grateful.

 

For 10.7.0 i can get to the desktop but the desktop is very unstable. finder craches if i use it too much, and once i restart after combo install and ######, i have constant kernel panics

 

i have heard that a lot of people are using this board, how ever no one seems to mention the right kernal flags or what kexts to install for stability afterwards
