Lez
So I installed the mac osx 10.4.6 today, the JaS one, and then I'm trying to boot to Mac OS X and it it spins the thing on the bottom a while and then a circle with a line comes over the apple logo. I have no idea why it does that. And my pc is like: P4 2.8GHz (Northwood) with SSE2 512MB RAM Radeon X850 Pro It's on my IDE hd EDIT: And a Gigabyte GA8IPE1000 mb with an intel chipset Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/27915-the-circle-on-the-apple-logo/ Share on other sites
Rammjet
During the installation, right before clicking the Install button, you must first click the Customize button and choose packages for your computer. Click the little arrow in front of the patches category to reveal the individual packages. Choose Intel packages, not AMD. Choose SSE2, not SSE3. Choose the 10.4.6 Combo Update if you want to end up with 10.4.6. http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?act...ost&id=4249 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/27915-the-circle-on-the-apple-logo/#findComment-190588 Share on other sites
