gnerd Posted May 17, 2012 Share Posted May 17, 2012 I have tried a few different methods to install Lion, and they all seem to end up at the same point. Boot seems to work and then just hangs..verbose doesnt show anything obvious. I am able to use -s (standalone) and get to a cli. I needed to attach an external USB keyboard though. If I had to guess, some "driver" (sorry, new to Mac's - maybe this is a kext?) is wrong/missing. Im really not sure where to go from here. What I can tell is that the OS is able to load, but something else is preventing the GUI from launching. Any help would be appreciated!
