gnerd Posted May 17, 2012 Share Posted May 17, 2012 I have tried a few different methods to install Lion, and they all seem to end up at the same point. Boot seems to work and then just hangs..verbose doesnt show anything obvious. I am able to use -s (standalone) and get to a cli. I needed to attach an external USB keyboard though. If I had to guess, some "driver" (sorry, new to Mac's - maybe this is a kext?) is wrong/missing. Im really not sure where to go from here. What I can tell is that the OS is able to load, but something else is preventing the GUI from launching. Any help would be appreciated! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
