lasagnaguy Posted September 17, 2006 Share Posted September 17, 2006 Hi, I am new to this forum, and to OS X on x86. I installed OS X yesterday on my ugly Dell tower (Dimension 9150 - nice computer, really) It work well. Sound is recognized, I can change my resolution (Ati X300, very cheap video card) and go on the Internet. But I have a strange problem here. I cant connect to Mac (real Macs) or Windows shared volumes. I did not tried in the terminal, but anyway this would not be a good solution. I can browse the Internet, do updates, listen to my shared music, but I cant access, in the Finder, to my other computers. Rene204 Posted September 17, 2006 Share Posted September 17, 2006 did you have repaired the "Bug" in the JAS 10.4.7 DVD? There is a Shell Script, that repairs that Bug. Make a Search for UserPosts {censored}-x, he has realized that Patch to resolve thet issue and reair the smb-system. Hope, that helps....
