ati radeon 7470 1gb

i have a strange problem . the display is identified fine with full qe/ci but the brightness is slighly low as compared to Windows 7 which i am dual booting

the strangest part is that if i put the computer to sleep and then wake it up , i get full brightness , same as in windows 7. how can i fix this and get full brightness without going to sleep mode .

it gives me a operation not permitted error while doing chown.

also i would like to add that my brightness slider works well oob but the maximum is lower than the maximum level in windows 7 which i am dual booting . i get the same max level as in windows when the computer wakes from sleep

the problem is when u boot, the mac doesn't check if it on AC power or not, u can verify that, shutdown your mac, remove the battery and keep just the Ac power, turn on the mac, once on desktop go to About this mac --> more information --> power, and u'll see that actual energy source it's the Battery.

Something wrong in DSDT maybe ?

so how do i correct it any ideas ?

please help me out its bugging me like anything

in about this mac->system info->power i get "There was an error while gathering this information."

i have also attached my dsdt

can u help me please thanks
