Here are some system specs MSI P45 NEO 4gb ddr2 ram WD Caviar Blue ATI IceQ graphics card Although the installation comes up, when I pull up the disk utility only my USB drive is detected. Find out what it is (find its PCI ID, for info how see the FAQ), and use a different installation method than the beast.
