I have an accer 7741z and i can't get passed the setup screen because it says i have no keyboard connected, I know a usb keyboard would work, but i dont happen to have any, is there any possible way i can get it to work?

btw i am using the ##### method with the retail image.

I don't recommend #####...

Basically you are missing the PS/2 drivers. Look for a Lion boot CD that contains PS/2 drivers.

Yes, but iAtkos is worse than the beast. Look for a retail boot CD, then you can just boot the installer partition you created. For example, I believe there is a hackboot.iso floating around.

and i saw that keyboard ont working was a problem and i need to install the .plist here.... unfortunatley the links are down... would anyone happen to have that info.plist

Apparently that iso didn't include PS/2 drivers...I'll rebuild that iso with the PS/2 drivers.

You can install the drivers in /System/Library/Extensions, but you'll need to make sure the permissions are correct. You can try /Extra/Extensions, but I can't remember if that'll work.
