Kalagaraz
I'm trying to install on my AMD 64 3000+ and I'm getting some errors during install. if I boot the install disc I get an apple screen with spinning circle on bottom and it stays like that forever. If I boot in verbose mode, at end when it freezes it says 3 times something along the lines of: Warning: Missing 256 sectors at end of cylinder. then it says "Launching Crash Reporter" and it freezes there. Any ideas what I've done wrong?
Kalagaraz
Alright I got it installed. Let it sit at loading crash reporter for quite a while and it finally finished starting installer. No errors after that. I got my account for Mac created and everything and logged in. However I couldn't access the internet. Anyone know how I setup my onboard ethernet adaptor? The network assistant thing would only let me chose dial-up for some reason. update: Probally help if I told you what card I have: It's an onboard Marvell Yukon Copper RJ-
johnnytluxury
How long did you let it sit? Im havin similar probs, but i thought my disc was locking up. I get impatient after 5-10 minutes of no response, espepcially when Ive installed before and hadnt have this happen.
wondergod
Marvell Yukon Copper RJ-45 I do't believe Copper RJ-45 is a model...lol... This works for the Marvell Yukon 88E8001 however Marvel makes more than just this chipset...so I suggest you try and look up more than just "Copper RJ-45" http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...marvell/Marvell
