AjAxXx
Hello. I'm trying to install Mac OS X on my PC, but I have an error when I try to make a partition for my Mac. Here is my partitions' configuration. The error is : DiskPart couldn't create the specified partition. If someone could help me Thx Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/27854-error-for-the-partition/ Share on other sites
cbmkgd
There can only be four primary partitions on a drive (the extended partition counts as a primary). (i know that bootitng can fool the system and have 'more' than four, but that's risky) You could try booting into your linux system, and choose to make a new swap partition as a logical partition within the extended partition; that way you could create a new primary for your osx. First I'd recommend using partition magic to reduce the size of your logical partition so that you have enough place for the new swap logical partition. Later in linux, you have created the new logical swap, you can delete the old primary swap. Bonne chance.
