I have a HP G62 b99sl (or similar caption), and despite some initial problems, I managed to install iATKOS L2 on an External Hard Drive (500GB Verbatim). But now I can not boot because the bios does not recognize it! Chamelon even recognize him! Instead if I try to boot on my Dell OptiPlex 380 and works great! First, even if formatted with Mac os journaled but "empty" ( without installed iATKOS on L2), the bios recognized it! How can I do?? rlf Posted April 23, 2012 Share Posted April 23, 2012 Try plugging the external drive into a different USB port and then reboot the computer. Go into BIOS and try to set the external drive as the 1st drive in the boot list. TheRacerMaster Posted April 26, 2012 Share Posted April 26, 2012 It could be because your BIOS can't boot from GPT formatted disks. Did you format the disk as GPT, or is it MBR?
