MrFanForced
Hi, I have been working for a while to install iAtkos L2 on my machine. I currently have it installed on a partition and I can boot into it using the iAtkos L2 DVD and everything works great but whenever I try to boot Mac OSX from my hardrive it crashes through the boot. When I boot to OS X through my hardrive it firsts goes to windows boot manager (I have windows 7 installed to the same hardrive on the primary partition.) I then select Mac OSX and then it takes me to Chameleon 2.0. From here I select Mac os x and it crashes. When I boot in verbose mode it gets to starting darwinx86 then it stops and restarts my computer. I have tried booting in safe mode and with cpus=1 and busratio=20 with no avail. The really annoying thing is that it works perefectly when I boot into it using the disc just not from my hardrive. the disc uses Chameleon 2.1 svn. How could I remove the Chameleon 2.0 from my hardrive and install 2.1 or otherwise fix this issue. rlf
To install 2.1 svn, run the package installer and it will replace what is already installed. You can get the Build 1902 pkg installer here: http://www.insanelym...howtopic=231075 Also, one time try booting -v -x
MrFanForced
I just tried running the installer and I checked the log and it said it was successful but when I goto the boot screen it is still the same old Chameleon and it was definitely installed to the OS X partition.
