Juan Jaime Morales
Hi everybody, yestarday I was searching how to install Snow Leopard on my HP dm4 1280la, the specs will be at the end oh this post. Now, hours ago, I burned 3 BootCD's: 1 ######, 2 Empire EFI v1.085, 3 Nawcom Boot. The thing is, I've tried every Boot CD and these are the results: 1 ######: Starts normally, when I swap the disc for the SL DVD there is no problem. Starts to load the Gray wallpaper from the installer, and suddenly shows a message: "Please shutdown your computer by holding down the power button until the screen turns off" Something like that. and, I've tryed one and one again, with no results. 2 Empire EFI v1.085 Starts normally, when I swap the disc for the SL DVD there is no problem. When I hit enter to boot from SL DVD this is what is on the Screen: No DSDT found, using 0 as uid value Loaded HFS+ file: [Extra/smbios.plist] 416 bytes from 42521f0 Patched DMI Table No DSDT replacement found. Leaving ACPI Table as is Starting Darwin x86 Press any key to continue And when I hit any key, it just reboot normally and DONT BOOT to the Snow Leopard DVD. I've tryed by typing: -v rd(0,0)/Extra/modbin_kernel and still do the same. 3 Nawcom BootCD It does the same like Empire Efi Please Give me some Help! I want to install it. Thanks by reading.
