drblack83
HP Probook 6560b 4GB/Core i5 Bios setting are set per instructions Booted off ###### Clean install Can reboot multiple times and if booting off ###### all is well. Any pkg I try to install the machine will not boot. I have tried all the steps and guides, whether udaterhelp, ######, combo update, hpbookpro updater, etc. I have done about 10 clean installs after low level formatting the hdd and i have tried to follow the tutorial and I have tried to individually install pkfs and reboot / and install multiple pkgs and reboot. After reboot I get a panic / kernel error.... As soon as I reboot the pc shows the apple logo then a kernel / panic hault window that pops up and tells me to reboot. Any ideas? I am going to try to install cpu prog and see if osx will see my i5 , reboot and see if that causes it to crash Is it better for me to just start w/ 10.7? *EDIT* I installed the CPU Injector kit and it shows my i5 as a Dual-Core Xeon Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/278223-hp-probook-65060b-wont-boot-after-install-of-packages/ Share on other sites
