I have a shuttle sg31s2 Intel core 2 duo. I have 2 gigs of ram, and a 250 gb hard drive and a geforce 8400gs video card.

I am using chameleon 2.0 and the directions posted here ( http://unlockforus.com/sg33g5/ ) to install snow leopard.

Everything seems to go ok until actual install. I can not set my drive to an AHCI settings, that is not a choice in my bios. I also have problems when installing.

it takes about 3 hours to "install", however after all that time, it just goes right back to the main install page asking what language i wish to use. it never loads up to the desktop screen.

when I unplug the usb drive and reboot, the computer doesnt reconize the drive at all.

I am using a USB drive with snow leopard on it.

when I formatted my hard drive I use the Mac Extended journaled setting.

when I formatted and installed snow leopard on the usb drive I used the GUID setting in the restore options.
