I am working on a PowerBook G4 and have recently moved to China. I am having trouble getting my Mac to play nicely with the Chinese ISPs and the Great Firewall of China.

Here is a brief overview of what I am dealing with: I am unable to mount my iDisk (that just sounds dirty) but I can log in online; I can't publish from iWeb to .Mac; my computer registers our wireless network but I can't get on-line unless I have the ethernet plugged in; none of my widgets can get online and my entourage can't access my email accounts, though I can get the mail by logging in through my browser.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Has anyone dealt with this successfully?

Thanks for your help

you should complain to the ISP about your current problem accessing .mac etc...etc.. we can't help you it is the ISP...

last 3 month when i'm visiting my relative there, i also have this problem, luckily i have an office VPN which connects me to local malaysian ISP,helps me accessing iDisk without problems.

other ways is get a new .mac account from www.apple.com.cn
