undadogz Posted April 13, 2012 Share Posted April 13, 2012 Hi i am pretty new to osx i have a mac pro running snow lep 10.6.7 with a ati hd 4890 pcie graphics card i want to upgrade to 10.6.8 but when i do and the mac reboots i get a blank grey screen ... the only way to get the mac up and running again is to do a fresh reinstall of osx ... which is a nightmare because i have to go find all the updates to download to get it back to 10.6.7 i know the hd4890 card was originally for a windows computer ive been to netkas and d/loaded the package and installed but it does not seem to work can anyone please help many thanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
