Schmerz Meister
Hey guys, I have a hackintosh working right now using an MSI P6NGM motherboard with a Core 2 Quad processor, a GeForce 7800 graphics card and 4 gigs of DDR2 667mhz RAM. I'm thinking about upgrading to GIGABYTE GA-X79-UD3 motherboard, Intel Core i7-3820 Processor, and 8 gigs of DDR3 1333 RAM while keeping the graphics card the same. Will there be any known issues with this setup? I'm currently using ###### to install Snow Leopard and ###### for the post installation. I will need the firewire and usb ports to work without a hitch as I'm running a firewire interface, a usb graphics card for a third monitor, and a usb ethernet port. Please let me know if any of you spot a problem with this setup. Also, if this won't work or a better setup is available, my budget is $600 for a motherboard, CPU, and RAM. Thank you so much!
