Riley Freeman Posted March 17, 2012 Share Posted March 17, 2012 I've tweaked this install method for building Lion and Mountain Lion USB installers for my Hack. The only thing left to do is get it to automatically apply the official USB stick icon. I tried cp-ing the icon to a .VolumeIcon.icns file at the root of the stick but it still displays the default icon. The only way that works is to apply it manually. Is there a way to apply the icon via the terminal? Tried my google-fu again and got it working. I had to add an extra line doing a "SetFile -a C" to the stick to apply the custom icon.
