mattcurtis
Hey guys! I've got a Toshiba M55-S135 (old laptop, I know) that I recently decided to try and install Snow Leopard on (wanted to try iPhone Development). I used Hazard's Snow Leopard 10.6.2 distro to install, and it installed fine. But the problem is, that when booting I get a gray screen (when booting with '-v' it goes through everything, no errors or panics). I know this has something to do with the kexts I use for that laptop's GMA900, but I'm not sure how to replace, add, or even where to find the correct kexts, since I can't get into Snow Leopard in the first place. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance! Oh, I'd also appreciate it if someone can instruct me on how to update the bootloader to the latest Chameloen (Hazard only provides two RC3 versions). Thanks again. SOLVED: Used Kexts from http://www.insanelym...owtopic=141549. Seems to have solved the problem, boots into OSX. If I see any problems or find a better solution I'll update. 1 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/277051-solved-snow-leopard-1062-gma900-graphics-issues-gray-screen/ Share on other sites
