1. Yes but it depends on the model.

 

Normally it must be the same as Apple uses, or closely related. For example, Apple don't use the Intel GMA 4500, so those don't work at all. If you're looking to buy a laptop try to get one that uses the same graphics chipset as Apple use in their Macbooks, it'll save you a ton of headaches.

 

2. No, Apple only use ATI, Intel and Nvidia. Therefore there are no drivers for video cards from other manufacturers.
