I've managed to install 10.4.6 on my Acer 8204. But to avoid the panic error I had to remove AppleIntel8254Xethernet.kext - which rendered the ethernet port useless. I was able to install 10.4.3 earlier - it installed fine with ethernet working and the appleintel8254xethernet.kext on the 10.4.3 did not cause a panic error. Can I replace the ...net.kext of 10.4.6 with that of 10.4.3? and if so, where on the 10.4.3 install dvd would that file be at? Thanks in advance! Cheers!
