bnall4
Finally got around to upgrading my HACK from 10.5.x to 10.6-- Fresh install on a new HD using Digital Dreamers Script. Thing boots just fine I had to move a few KEXTS to get audio working Downloaded the Combo update 10.6.7 and installed. Working! However there are about 20-30 kext refusals at boot... something like this, "Refusing new kext com.apple, iokit, IOPCIFamily, 2.6; a loaded copy with a different executable UUID is already present" Is this something I should worry about? Thanks in advance. Machine is EX58-ud5 i7 2.66 I have run 10.5.6 for about 1.5 years no problem- Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/276384-should-i-worry-about-this/ Share on other sites
